Minority ethnic groups and women are significantly underrepresented in architecture and related design professions. That needs to change. We hope the diverse representation in Deja the Dynamo's world helps young readers from all backgrounds see themselves in design professions, ultimately nurturing a more diverse pipeline for the future. It's just one of the things we're doing to grow DEI in the design industry. We will donate a portion of proceeds from book sales to ACE Mentor Program of America.
